A point-to-point VPN connection in China.
A point-to-point VPN connection is used to connect the entire local network located in one location to the local network in another location.
The usual scenario is to connect remote subsidiaries to corporate headquarters or to the company's data center.
This method does not require the installation of VPN services on users ' devices, since the connection is handled by the VPN gateway, and data transfer between devices on different networks is transparent.
IPsec (over the Internet) is the most common way to protect Internet VPN connections, while another common method is to use a cloud-based MPLS operator that supports an operator interface that does not include public networks.
In the latter case, layer 3 (MPLS IP VPN) or layer 2 (Virtual Private LAN Service — VPLS) connections are applicable.
There are several other scenarios for using VPN connections:
Between two stand-alone devices, such as servers located in two remote data centers, when the standard security requirements of the corporate network are not sufficient;
Connecting to cloud infrastructure resources (infrastructure-as-a-service);
Deploying a VPN gateway in the cloud and outsourcing access to a cloud provider.

It is recommended that you do not use a free VPN service because it is most likely just phishing to collect information in order to create a database and sell it to someone else. Remember that usually we get what we pay for, and since privacy is an invaluable product, a free VPN is likely to be a waste of your time and even unsafe.

If you access the Internet via Wi-Fi somewhere in a cafe when there is a risk of spying on your traffic. In addition, encryption is useful if traffic needs to be hidden from the Internet provider so that it does not see which sites you visit. So in general, the benefits of VPN should not be underestimated. But it’s just as important not to lose sight of potential myths about the ideality of technology.

Sometimes I use vpn on a computer when I go to sites that are prohibited in my country, and it's hard to calculate when you go under vpn. It seems to me that this function is built-in on the phone. Although maybe I’m wrong, but on the computer in the Google Chrome browser I have vpn on other browsers I don’t know. But the vpn function itself is super. Respect to the one who came up with this.

When you connect to the Internet, your data is transferred over an insecure network. Data packets are very easy to track, write to change or steal while they travel from your computer to the web server. If you have not taken care of reliable protective measures in advance, hackers can just take everything they need. For example, in May and July of this year, hackers stole millions of user records from Equifax credit bureaus. And this is not an isolated case. Hacker attacks happen very often, so both individual users and organizations must take all necessary measures to protect their data. On the network, you may have important data - for example, a bank account, business correspondence by e-mail or a pension portfolio, and all this data must be protected. Hackers can even steal your medical data to create fake insurance. It’s better to protect all this data. When you connect through the VPN service topvpn.tw any information that you send via the Internet is protected from prying eyes and cannot be intercepted or altered. If you use cloud storage, it is even more important for you to protect this data with a VPN.
