We are not kidding! In the former case, the first thing you will need to do is to visit account.live.com/password/reset page and enter your registered email address or phone number. Proceed further, and Microsoft will send you a password reset code on the given ID or contact number. You have to get the code and then use it for resetting your account password.

In case, if you want to use any other email address for the Outlook Password Reset, then go to account.live.com/acsr page and provide both your registered email and an alternate one. Microsoft will send you the password reset code on the alternate email address. Get the code and utilize it for resetting your account password.
